Hello and welcome to our site. This is the page where you can find inspiration for your writing. We can always provide you writers a 'shop'. This shop is called an IDEA SHOP. This is where you can find an idea for your writing. And then there is the Name Shop where there is a name list and a description of the character. You may be able to change the spelling or something in either the ideas or the names, and we trust that nobody will steal the same name/idea. So back to inspiration.
We will do it in To Do format again like the page before this.
1 - Inspiration: Read writing books.
Writing books can not and will not always teach you everything to know about writing. They will tell you the basics and you will have to do the rest. But they still can help a lot.
2 - Read books about writers.
We can give you a few examples. For younger kids, try...
"The School Story".
This is a good book about a sixth grade girl who writes a novel and has to go through the hard publishing road. And that brings up another thing to talk about. Writing is endless.
Then Lucy Maud Montgomery wrote a few books about writers such as...
-"Emily of New Moon"
-"Emily Climbs"
-"Emily's Quest"
-"Anne of Green Gables"
-"Anne of Avonlea"
-"Anne of the Island"
-"Anne of Windy Poplars"
-"Anne's House of Dreams"
-"Anne of Ingleside"
-"Rainbow Valley"
-"Rilla of Ingleside"
-"The Story Girl"
-"The Golden Road"
And there are quite a few more books that she wrote. Too many to list them all.
Then, of course, there is the Internet, which basically means Google. You are always able to search online, "books about writers" or a certain author such as "Lucy Maud Montgomery".
3 - Pick a writer who interests you and read a biography about him/her.
4 - Start a journal of ideas that interest you and can possibly make good stories one day.
5 - Find interesting things and see how you can make it into a story or a novel.
And that is it. If you have any questions, contact me in 'Contact' :)
